No I didn't finish any of the novels I wanted to last month. Bad Alex.
- Eldest by Christopher Paolini
- Septimus Heap: Magyk by Angie Sage
So I haven't done any last month. Much to my disappointment.
Here's what I've come up this month. Hopefully, I'll finish at least one.
- Eldest by Christopher Paolini
- Faerie Wars by Herbie Brennan (seriously, I just need to listen to it since it's an audio book. SO WHY THE HELL CAN'T I?)
- The Secret by Rhonda Byrne
So I've been scouting for possible books to read this month. Good riddance with Breaking Dawn which really is broken. I liked Jacob's part of the story, as for anything else, well, let's just say I now have another pairing to search the world wide web now. Yup, you betcha, Jake/Edward it is. But really, nothing beats the OTP you know.
Aside from the other books I've been reading, I'm reacquainting myself with lomonaaeren's novel length stories. I love how she portrays the UTP of my OTP. *heartflutters*
But anyway
- Sophie's World by Jostein Gaarder
- Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson
- Faerie Wars by Herbie Brennan >> this one is an audio book
Optional ones are
- The host by Stephenie Meyer >>one last bitter pill I have to take
- Chasing Harry Winston by Lauren Weisberger
- Witch of Portobello by Paulo Coelho
Aside from that, I'm like obsessing with Queer as Folk now. I was a bit disappointed when the store I buy DVDs from didn't have the series. But I found some in YouTube so I'll be hanging around there for a while. But really, nothing beats the DVD.
Note to self: Buy season 1 to 5 of Queer as Folk as soon as possible. O.O
This series deserve its own tag. LMAO
And September has come thus my list now I put up :)
ETA[10/18]: I've edited my Reading list because I feel like I'm not going to even finish one of those I've listed. So I have the tentative section now for those books. Especially Stephenie Meyer's.
PsyCop Seriesby Jordan Castillo Price [a very good novel, it's slash but it's worth reading]- Chasing Harry Winston by Lauren Weisberger
AGreat and Terrible Beautyby Libba Bray [something in the news said that one of the books in this series would be turned into a film with the actress, Ginny Weasley of Harry Potter as the lead. Cool, I like her more than the character she portrays!]
Tentative:
- The Host by Stephenie Meyer [I'm beginning to think that all her books are going to be a regular squatter in my list for a loong loong time. LMAO]
Breaking Dawnby Stephenie Meyer [And did you know that her last installment of the Twilight Saga was apparently leaked by some people in the net a couple of months ago so she's putting the book on hiatus until her "emotions" are calmed down >.<] ETA(090908): and I finally finished it!- Witch of Portobello by Paulo Coelho
So I wasn't able to finish half of the books in my reading list last month, T.T Bummer. Anyway, I've got myself a copy of Breaking Dawn, the fourth and hopefully the last of the Twilight Saga. I've read a few pages and I think it will be in my reading list for god knows how long, just like the host. LMAO
Here's what I'm planning on reading this month, (besides my reviewers for the finals that is)
- The Host by Stephenie Meyer (I really need to finish this one)
- Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer
- The Pilgrimage by Paulo Coelho
- The Witch of Portobello by Paulo Coelho
- Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabrielle Garcia Marquez
- Stardust by Neil Gaiman
- Grass for His Pillows: Tales of the Otori Book 2 by Lian Hern
How to be Popular by Meg CabotJinx by Meg Cabot>> I liked this one, it was a bit weird with all the witches and all but really it's good.Pants on Fire by Meg CabotSomething Borrowed by Emily Griffin>> this was a really good book, I'm finding the sequel of this book but to no avail.Queen of Babble by Meg CabotQueen of Babble gets Hitched by Meg Cabot>>This one is somewhat like Emily Griffin's Something Borrowed but less frustrating and angsty. XD BAH I thought this was the second book of the series so I read this instead of Queen of Babble in the Big City T.T O gash!- The Laughing Corpse by Laurell K. Hamilton book two of the Anita Blake Vampire Huntress
Since I have acquired a lot of books in like the past month(all thanks to my birthday!), I am now going to make it easier for myself to track what I've been reading, will be reading and those I have read for this time onwards. :X
So this is my reading list for the month. :) I'm already halfway through with Valiant and Guilty Pleasures and is quite stuck at the first part of The Host, although I'm battling between the Pilgrimage and the Witch of Portobello I thought it was better to read the Pilgrimage first. XD
oh how I love lists XD
